Block Wall Installation

In earlier years, concrete wasn’t as readily available as it is now. Contractors would use concrete blocks as an inexpensive substitute for “pour in place” concrete walls to build foundations. These cinder blocks are not as strong or stable as the block wall.

A common problem with homes that have block foundations in their basements is that the blocks will begin to bow inward overtime.

Block wall Damage is caused by

  • Age Over Time
  • Improper Construction
  • Excessive Moisture
  • Inadequate Insulation or Moisture Seal
  • Poor Soil Makeup
  • Extended Below Freezing Temperatures
  • Earthquakes or Tremors
